Promotions that appear within the product, as well as the pop up at the lower right of the Windows desktop, use an embedded component of Internet Explorer to display the promotions, which is why they always appear in IE.
We do this because Internet Explorer/Edge is always installed in Windows whereas other browsers like Chrome, Brave, Firefox, Opera, are not by default. This may be subject to change in a future product version.
