This article explains how to make a backup copy of all your ByePass passwords (aka “accounts”), as well as how to import them again into ByePass should you ever need to.
 
To back up your passwords from ByePass onto your computer, you’ll need to export a single CSV file from ByePass, which will contain all of your stored passwords.
 
Export CSV file from ByePass
  1. Log into ByePass.
  2. From the red menu bar dropdown menu, choose Settings.
  3. Scroll down to Data.
  4. Click Export accounts.
  5. Enter your Master Password.
  6. Choose a destination for the CVS file and click Save.
 
Import Backup/CSV file into ByePass
To import the backup/CSV file into ByePass:
  1. Log into ByePass.
  2. From the red menu bar dropdown menu, choose Settings.
  3. Scroll down to Data.
  4. Click Import accounts.
  5. Enter your Master Password.
  6. In the Import from dropdown menu, choose ByePass.
  7. In the Import file field, click Choose File.
  8. Navigate to the saved CSV file in Windows File Explorer.
  9. Once you've located and selected the file, click Open in the File Explorer window.
  10. Click Continue.
  11. You should receive a green confirmation message that the import was completed.
  12. If not, click Close to exit Import accounts and navigate to Accounts and make sure the imported passwords appear there.
