Exciting News: New Shopping & Renewal Features
At iolo, we are continuously working to provide the most secure experience for our customers. We are introducing new features including a faster purchase experience as well as updated renewal processing for both in-cart renewals and automatic renewals.
Currently, 2Checkout securely processes transactions on behalf of iolo. 2Checkout is PCI-compliant and adheres to international payment processing and privacy best practices and laws.
In November 30, 2021, payment processing for iolo's US customers began transitioning away from 2Checkout to Sticky io, a PCI-compliant payment processor that adheres to international payment processing and privacy best practices and laws. Sticky io, based in the US, powers more than 70M subscriptions around the world, and processed over $4B in the past year. To put it simply, iolo and Sticky take privacy and payment security seriously, and it is our top priority.
As a result of this transition, your iolo.com purchases and renewals will appear on your credit card statement as "IOLO.com" or "PAYPAL *IOLO" instead of "2co.com*iolo" for US customers, and you may begin receiving email related to your subscriptions from firstname.lastname@example.org, so please be sure to add this as a trusted sender in your email client. If you use PayPal, the merchant will appear as "RealDefense LLC".
Additionally, subscription and billing information stored on 2Checkout will be securely migrated to Sticky io for US customers by first quarter, 2022 -- and for international customers by mid-2022. We are rolling this change out carefully in phases for all of our customers and will provide email updates throughout.
