Customers who have purchased System Mechanic or Search and Recover products as a monthly service from AOL Product Central, and have questions about their purchase, subscription or renewal (including refunds), can use the following methods to contact AOL:

If you would like to cancel your service:

  1. Go to your AOL My Account at
  2. If prompted to sign in, do so using your AOL screen name and password
  3. You will then be brought to the My Services tab. Click on System Mechanic/Search and Recover
  4. Click Cancel Service
  5. Click Cancel Service again to confirm.
