System Mechanic Premium Beta 

To revert from a System Mechanic Premium Beta version to the current latest released production version, follow these steps to uninstall and reinstall with the latest production released version:
 
UNINSTALL SYSTEM MECHANIC PREMIUM BETA VERSION
 
1. Click the Windows Start button
 
2. Find and click Control Panel to open it
 
3. In the Control Panel Search Box, type “uninstall”
 
4. Under Programs and Features, click Uninstall a program
 
5. After the Windows Uninstaller opens, scroll through the list of programs until you find System Mechanic Premium
 
6. Right-click on it to uninstall
 

INSTALL SYSTEM MECHANIC PREMIUM PRIOR PRODUCTION VERSION
 
1. Once System Mechanic Premium finishes uninstalling, go to http://smprm.iolo.com
 
2. Choose a destination folder and click Save to save a copy of the iolo Download Manager (smprm_dm.exe)
 
3. Open smprm_dm.exe from either your browser download tray or the folder in which you saved it
 
4. If the User Account Control window appears, click Yes
 
5. Choose a destination folder and click Save to save a copy of the System Mechanic installation file (SystemMechanic.exe) to your PC (recommended)
 
6. When the iolo installer wizard opens, follow the steps onscreen to complete the installation of the System Mechanic Premium
 
7. At the end of the installation process, a system reboot may be required
 

System Mechanic Professional Beta 

To revert from a System Mechanic Professional Beta version to the current latest released production version, follow these steps to uninstall and reinstall with the latest production released version:
 
UNINSTALL SYSTEM MECHANIC PROFESSIONAL BETA VERSION
 
1. Click the Windows Start button
 
2. Find and click Control Panel to open it
 
3. In the Control Panel Search Box, type “uninstall”
 
4. Under Programs and Features, click Uninstall a program
 
5. After the Windows Uninstaller opens, scroll through the list of programs until you find System Mechanic Professional
 
6. Right-click on it to uninstall
 

INSTALL SYSTEM MECHANIC PROFESSIONAL PRODUCTION VERSION
 
1. Once System Mechanic Professional finishes uninstalling, go to http://smpro.iolo.com
 
2. Choose a destination folder and click Save to save a copy of the iolo Download Manager (smpro_dm.exe)

3. In the Control Panel Search Box, type “uninstall”
 
4. Under Programs and Features, click Uninstall a program
 
5. After the Windows Uninstaller opens, scroll through the list of programs until you find System Mechanic Standard
 
6. Right-click on it to uninstall
 

INSTALL SYSTEM MECHANIC STANDARD PRODUCTION VERSION
 
1. Once System Mechanic Standard finishes uninstalling, go to http://sm.iolo.com
 
2. Choose a destination folder and click Save to save a copy of the iolo Download Manager (sm_dm.exe)
 
3. Open sm_dm.exe from either your browser download tray or the folder in which you saved it
 
4. If the User Account Control window appears, click Yes
 
5. Choose a destination folder and click Save to save a copy of the System Mechanic installation file (SystemMechanic.exe) to your PC (recommended)
