DriveScrubber error message: No Supporting HDD Found

Why do I receive the following error message when I try to boot from the DriveScrubber USB drive:

No Supporting HDD Found. SDD Not Supported

Drive Scrubber® allows you to safely and permanently delete sensitive data from entire hard drives with military-grade file deletion technology. This tool has been recently streamlined and modernized by moving to a Linux-based USB-supported data removal client. This allows for the wiping of more modern types of hard drives, and is more convenient and easier to use than previous versions.

The currently used Linux image (or copy of the operating system that gets loaded into working memory) was designed to minimally impact system memory. One result of this austerity is that it may not support certain SSDs, very new HDDs or, rarely, multiple hard drive configurations. iolo engineers are currently addressing this issue by moving to a less compact Linux image.

Expanding the Linux image in order to recognize more types of drives can quickly result in a substantially increased, even doubling, of the image size, making it too unwieldy for practical application. There is an optimal point at which these conflicting interests are balanced, and iolo engineers are researching to precisely find it. Achieving this will allow more inclusive support for the very latest drives and customized system configurations while minimally taxing system resources.
