Resolution: “Black Screen” Issue/Windows Behaving Erratically

An easy fix is now available on a Repair CD for the black screen issue that may have affected your PC. This was caused by a missing system file, RPCSS.DLL, that's often targeted by malware and viruses, and sometimes your antivirus might quarantine or delete it altogether, causing your system to become unusable. The repair may apply if Windows is behaving erratically, such as: desktop icons or taskbar is unresponsive or missing; screen is blank with a blinking cursor and no ability to launch Windows.
